How I can read for NTSE exam
Here are some preparation tips you can follow.
Read NCERT books properly. Practice questions and theory from these books as well. Questions have been asked about the labeling of a diagram too. So read and practice very thoroughly.
- Well planned Study : The students who are preparing for any of the entrance exam need to follow the proper study plan by preparing a complete strategy for every particular subject.
- Do hard work in smart manner: The key is that do hard work smartly which help you to score good. So study what is needed. It is not necessary to study the things out of syllabus. Study according to the exam pattern.
- Practice with previous year question papers: This is the most effective way to prepare for any of the exams as when you prepare from the previous year question paper, you will get idea of the format and the pattern of the question paper. So by practicing the previous year question papers you can know how much time to spend on each section.
The best way to prepare for and crack any exam is planning in advance.

You can follow below tips to prepare for NTSE exam
1- Know your strength and weakness- You should solve complete mock test series to know your strength and weakness. so, you can work upon them and you can also analyze your performance level.
2- Follow NCERT Books
Follow NCERT books of classes IX and X for NTSE preparation. For some concepts in biology, refer NCERT Class XI Biology textbook.
3- Strengthen Your MAT Section The MAT section tests your mental ability. Hence, you must give sufficient time for preparing for this part
4-Work on Your SAT Section Follow NCERT for the scholastic aptitude section of NTSE. You must also read a good general knowledge book for ‘out of the course’ questions.
5- Reference Book NTSE. R.S. Aggarwal’s handbook is extremely helpful for preparing for the MAT exams. For mocks, you can refer to Arihant & Tata McGraw-Hill books as they clearly point out the difficulty level of NTSE.
