Hello Vikanasan
Greetings
There are only few days left for JEE main exam therefore I assume that you must be well aware of the syllabus and the topics which are most important and question patternso here I am giving you some important tips which if you follow you not only pass but also will live score good marks in the JEE main exam.
1.Collect all the past five years question paper of JEE main and start finding the questions which are of the same type I can assure you that you will definitely find at least 10 to 15 questions which are common that means the pattern is commonsome of them from mathematical reasoning limits chemistry in everyday life, straight lines in this topics questions come from every year and they are of the same type almost.
2 When you get the common questions learn how to solve with them and see the variations which can be made into 10 questions if you are able to complete these questions then at least 40 marks are assured.
3 It is a time of final preparation therefore in inorganic chemistryyou don't need to go to read the whole paragraph again and again but just collect the set of important questions and revise those reactions, structure of the compounds and other important properties which are asked previously in the Engineering entrance exam in just a focus on JEE main and advanced that is collect the questions of previous years JEE main and advanced and look at the questions of inorganic chemistry so there are quite chances that you may see a question from that in JEE main.
It is the time for your final preparation therefore keep looking at this important topics because this topic will boost Your score is questions will definitely come from which topics should be wise formulas of electrostatics rotational motion laws of Motion optics.in case of chemistry look at the previous years questions in case of organic and inorganic chemistry because as this is JEE main there for questions will be straight forward and their will not be any difficulty in terms of organic chemistry questions because mostly questions will not be best on the mechanism but will be director reaction based.in case of physical chemistry revise important formulas and look at the solution of the different type of problems.for mathematics look at the different types of possibilities of the questions which can be formed from a single topic and look how you could solve this type of problems because in mathematics it is very difficult and time taken to solve a new problem therefore just approach those problems which you know the solution before attempting is it because if you attempt a new problem then it may take 10 to 15 minutes of your time but as you know that all the questions will have equal marks therefore there is no benefit in attempting it difficult question just go for simplest questions first and once you are done with simplest question then you should go for next level. When was done with the above mentioned things then it is the time to look at the strong topics from your path then list the types of questions that can be formed from the topics and if you look at the previous years then almost 90% of the questions will be within your list. So learn how to solve this type of questions because if you are able to solve 90% of the questions from your strong part then I hope that you will not only pass the exam but also score good marks.
This is all about the preparation but as this exams create lot of pressure on the students therefore it it has been found that the students perform not as per their expectation in the exam because they make certain mistakes so it is as important as practicing the problem to make a proper strategy to how to give the exam.
- Don't feel that you are running out of time because there is 3 hours for everyone and if you solve the paper in hurry then you may make a mistake in the problems which you not make a mistake then get full marks.
- From the beginning of the exam you know that you are not going to solve all the questions there for suppose if you are going to solve only 45 questions then for each questions you have 4 minutes not only 2 minutes therefore take time and reach the final answer with utmost care to avoid negative marking.
- The biggest success of this kind of exam is how to tackle the pressure and skip the negative marking that is while appearing for the exam there may come instances where you would feel that you should attempt more question but this kind of strategy should be avoided because even though if you attempt more question then due to negative marking you are all overall score will not be affected but your time distribution for each question will get short.
- If you get nervous during the exam just wait for 2 minutes and start deep breathing it will boost your confidence and also you will enhance your blood circulation which will help you in more control over your activities and in turn you would be able to focus on the question paper.
SinceI don'tknow much about your preparation level and I have given the answer assuming that you are comfortable with most of the topics but if you are not then for passing just you need to attempt 25 questions and if you attempt 25 questions correctly then there is 90% chance that you will qualify the exam that is you will pass the exam therefore if you are only aspiring to pass the exam then just select the easiest 25 questions in which you are 100% sure then only attempt those question in the exam with utmost care so that you do not make any mistake in the question solving and you answer the questions correctly so if you answer the 25 questions correctly then you will score 100 marks which is sufficient as per the previous years trends. In the exam you may find some questions in which you are 50% sure but I would not recommend you to attempt those kind of questions if you find 25 questions i

Preparation strategy for jee mains:
- JEE mains is purely concept based and the foundation to be the best in all the three subjects is thoroughly understanding the basics in each and every chapter.
- Make a daily plan with each hour alloted to the chapters, well defined and stick to the plan
- For jee mains firstly finish all the ncert textbooks thoroughly and then go for other reference books mentioned below, because all the basics will be covered in ncert textbooks and most of questions asked in Mains paper can be answered by being well prepared with the ncert itself.
- Allot equal timings in a day to all the three subjects and practice the problems in each chapter, right after you finish it. Problems that can be practiced include from ncert textbooks and reference books If you are taking coaching coaching classes(which I prefer you to take), then practice from the books they provide.
- Assess yourself daily in the way whether you are doing better than the previous day, catching the speed, not making any calculation mistakes.etc.,write down the problems you got stuck at and clarify them with your teachers.
- After you finish the chapters, take 3hr tests twice in a week so as to practice for the main in the beginning of preparation, during the end of preparation, practice tests from previous years papers as well as mock tests that are available online daily.
- Focus on the chapters that has high weightage and go accordingly
Books:
For physics
- NCERT BOOK,
- Concepts of physics(H. C. VERMA ) Understanding JEE physics series(D. C. PANDEY
For Chemistry -
- NCERT(must)
- Inorganic - J. D. LEE
- Organic-O.P.Tondon
- Physical - O. P. Tondon
For Maths-
- NCERT
- S. L. LONEY
- TATA McGraw Hill
- Arihart(preferred)
Tips :
- Don't get tensed in th beginning if you are not following the speed or syllabus instead always get help from your teachers or there are so many videos in youtube that would explain clearly and neatly all the chapters and also model problems.
- Always stick to the plan made and assess yourself at the end of the day
- Don't keep the preparation for the last, always make the preparation done way before months of examination and keep the last 2-3months for only practicing mock tests and previous papers.
Hope this helps.... All the very best for your examinations.
You should go with proper procedure and concepts and it will take time .
You should start your studies a year or 2 year ago from exam.
And you should be focus on your studies till end and
Be regular and keep patience and don't get frustrate during the study time.
And your concepts must very clear and practice numericals and read theory.
So good luck
Hi aspirant
you need to prepare each subject separately and practice previous year question papers as well as sample papers. The after if your preparation is finished you can start giving mock test by joining any coaching in india like fiit jee, aakash,Allen, Bansal ,Resonance ..etc.
After each test analyse your mistake and again prepare for the topics in which you have done your mistake.
Don't loose hope ever.
All the best.
