Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies is the department of the University of Mumbai which offers management courses. The university is the oldest institution in Maharashtra. Established in 1857, the govt. university is approved by UGC and has AAA rating as per Careers360 rating system which means Good. The institute has a separate cell for placements which guides the MMS students for the placements. As per the official website, for 2016-18 batch, 112 companies visited the campus for placements. The highest CTC offered was Rs. 7 lakhs and the average CTC was Rs. 4.1 lakhs. The students were placed in different sectors – Banking & Finance, Consulting, E-commerce, IT and Pharma, FMCG, etc. Some of the major recruiters were Quikr, ITC Limited, India Mart, Capital First, Dun & Bradstreet, etc.
