Government medical college,  miraj is one of the old medical college is choice of most medical aspirants. It has two attached hospital near. This college is located in Maharashtra nadi affiliated to maharashtra university of health and recognized by Medical council of India established in-1962

All in all, it's a great place to learn as faculty present here are best they give there vest effort to student. It has very huge and beautiful campus with best hostel facility like other best colleges  with best facility available. Infrastructure of this college is almost good. You can say it is almost an average medical college like other with all facility available with better studies and lab facility available here

GMC Miraj is a government institution with all necessary infrastructural support for its students. The total fees for MBBS is Rs.5.88 lakhs.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with wi fi facilty, indoor games facilty, etc. Safety and hygiene is ensured in the living spaces.  The college owns a fleet of buses that provides transportation facility to the students. The library of the institute has a rich collection of books, magazines, journals, etc. A well equipeed auditorium is present for organizing various events and conferences throughout the year. Other facilities like canteen, sports, gym is also present for the students. The faculty is experienced and provide proper clinical exposure. Scholarships are also provided need based or merit based to the students. A lot of students have done really well in the postgraduate exams from this college. You will get a lot of clinical exposure during your internship as a lot of patients come from small villages around Miraj and Sangli.
