Bundelkhand Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital is one of the top colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The college is commonly referred to as the Govt. Ayurvedic College, Jhansi. It is located in the Indian state of Bundelkhand, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in 1934 by the first Member of Parliament from Jhansi Acharya, Pt. Raghunath Vinayak Dulhekar. Kanpur University held its first exams in 1970. There are just 40 places available for the BAMS course at this college. Bandai State Ayurvedic College and Hospital is certified and recognised by the CCIM (Central Council of Indian Medicine) and is affiliated with the Chatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. Govt. Ayurvedic College Banda provides 1 courses in 1 stream, Medical, and 1 degree, BAMS. As you are all aware, the duration of BAMS in India is 5 and half years,  and half  for academic sessions and 1 year for internship. Students have access to hostel facilities.

Eligibilit criteria:

• Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (Undergraduate).
• Candidates seeking admission to UG programmes must attend the UP AYUSH State Counseling. There is no admission without NEET.
• NEET aspirants must meet all of the qualifying criteria outlined in the admission guidelines.

The institution has extensive teaching facilities, and the faculty is well educated and well trained, with a sufficient number of non-technical employees on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The College has a well-equipped laboratory with the necessary apparatus and materials. It also provides a hostel facility with a separate building for ladies and boys beds for every student in calm and serene settings, as well as a stimulating natural environment for the students to study. The institute has a large and sanitary canteen where students may have fresh and nutritious meals. Fully functional computer centre with high-speed internet access. The goal of the college is to bring together, in one location, educational facilities of the best calibre for the training of self-sufficient professionals in all significant disciplines of health activity, as well as to improve educational quality.
