At Lucknow University, The Faculty of Commerce is involved in Research, Commerce, Applied Economics, Bussiness, Management Education, and Consultancy along with funded research projects. The Faculty of Commerce aims at upliftment of overall academic standards and to make the Faculty of Commerce a centre of excellence. The Faculty of Commerce every year produces more than 300 postgraduate and 1000 under-graduate students.
The self-financing Programmes like Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA) are running under the banner of Institute of Management Sciences. For providing professional exposure to aspiring students, it focusses on the 'Industry Institution interface, as it interacts with national Associations of trade & Industry and regularly invites professionals from the corporate world to share their experience with the students. To keep pace with changing market dynamics, the department has been regularly updating the course structure of all Programmes.
