How is Punjab Engineering College's CSE branch?

PEC CSE Branch is definitely a good choice.
Firstly, PEC is a decent college in terms of doing your Bachelor's degree. It has a good campus with all the facilities required.
Now comming to the placements, I will be discussing about the placements after Btech only, as people from various branches go to do higher studies Ms, MBA also.
The placements depends on the branch you are studying in. For instance, the Computer Science branch has an average package between 9–10 lacks but for other branches such as Electrical, Mechanical and Civil the average package is lower.

Hi Darshan,
I won't sugarcoat it but Punjab Engineering College is not the college you should look for. Neither the placements not the college is good enough to be considered. you should only go for it if you have no other choice and you have to anyhow do B.Tech in CSE.
This college will be just a place where you spend you 4 years and nothing more than that.

Placements in this college are awesome, especially for the CSE branch. In previous years, we had 100% placements for the CSE branch. The highest salary package offered was around 42 LPA. So placements are on par with most of the NITs. Some top-notch companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan, etc., visit the campus for placements.
