How is the Central university of jammu? Is it true that many classes will be missed due to snow fall or terror attacls?

I understand your concern about the location of the Institute in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. But I can assure you, the threat of terror attacks, etc are more in Kashmir region including Srinagar and not Jammu as such. Jammu is a peaceful place and thus you should rest assured your classes won't hamper due to threats of terror attacks.

Coming to snowfall, yes there is snowfall in jammu but again this is not as heavy as in Valley region of Kashmir. You might hear highways being closed but you should not have any large disturbances in your college course.

I would also suggest you to find some seniors from your college via LinkedIn or Quora to gain first hand narrative.
