It can not be generalised for every institute. The difficulty level of institute-level engineering entrance test varies from institute to institute. They are not as difficult as the national level or state level entrace tests, but some of them may be a little difficult. So, you have to prepare well to take the entrance test of regional level engineering entrance exams. To take these exams, it's important that you have the basic and fundamental clarity about the engineering concepts.
