Hello,
The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) will conduct counselling for AIQ seats on behalf of Medical Council Committee (MCC) for admission in government colleges, central and deemed universities. 85% state quota seats are filled through state counselling which is conducted by the respective State authorities. Now, once the counselling registration has started you need to register for it and pay the registration fee which includes a refundable fee and non-refundable fee specified against your category. And fill the choice of your college. You choose any college of your choice and any number of colleges but you must be aware of the fee structure and choose only those colleges in which you are interested in and lock your choices. If not locked it will be automatically locked. A seat will be allotted to you based on your preference, merit in NEET, category and seat availability. If you are satisfied you can accept the seat and report at the college with the following documents and take admission
You can choose float option if you want to accept the seat but want to participate in further rounds of counselling or withdraw the seat if you do not wish to take the seat and do not want to participate in further rounds. This the counselling procedure for 15% AIQ seats. Candidates who have qualified NEET can only participate in the counselling. Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir can also only participate for deemed universities in AIQ counselling. And for J&K state counselling 100% seats are reserved for home state candidates.
