How many attempts are there in jee mains

Hey Deepak,

You can appear 3 times in JEE mains.

From 2019 you an attept 2 times in a year(January and April).

so 3*2=6 years in total you can sit for jee mains exams.

As per the NTA rule, there are three attempts for JEE Mains. The three attempts are counted as one attempt is both the JEE Mains exams in the same year. For example, a person who gave either January mains or April mains or both has his one attempt exhausted and can give mains in next 2020 as well as 2021. People who gave their first mains in 2017, had their third and last chance in this year's JEE with eligibility for both the January and April exams. Hello deepak, hope you are doing well sir, well, one can appear for jee mains as maximum as thrice.. candidate can appear for jee mains twice a year.. though from 2019 onwards it will be changed as jee number of attempts would be in total six..please refer to the link below to know in detail
