As per some media reports JEE-Main is likely to have 2 attempts from this year but till now neither National Testing Agency nor any other competent authority has issued official notification regarding this . So for now it is not decided whether the JEE-Main 2022 will be conducted for 4 attempts or for 2 attempts.

Jee-Main 2022 dates are likely to be declared by the end of February 2022 and first attempt is expected in the month of March 2022 if there will be 4 attempts and in April 2022 if there would be 2 attempts. There is no information regarding the number of sessions that are going to be conducted this year it is expected that unlike last year this year there will be 2 sessions. Keep an eye on the official website or the link below for the latest information. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NTA JEE Main date 2022 at jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in 2022. The authorities are expected to conduct the JEE Main 2022 2 times - April and May. JEE Main form date 2022 has not been announced yet.

In 2022, you can attempt JEE Mains 2 times in April and May according to latest update but no confirmation is given on it. NTA may  conduct JEE Mains only two times this year in the months of April and May. As per the media report registrations may begin by the end of February, 2022.

JEE Mains can be attempted 3 times in consecutive years from the year you finish your 12 th standard including the year. JEE Advanced can be attempted twice in consecutive years.

You meet to meet other eligibility criteria like age criteria, minimum 75 marks in 12 th standard in science stream from a recognised Board and 65 percentage for reservation category candidates, etc.
