Over 50% of the 43,035 students (around 23,000), who appeared for JEE (Main) under EWS category, have qualified for JEE (Advanced). Of these 23,000, around 8,000 have not sought benefit of lower cut-offs for the EWS quota. Means only around 23000 have qualified but only 15000 have registered them under EWS quota.
