How many hours should be read in the day for iit preparation ? Please tell me Sir.
First of all gather all the notes for concepts, so I suggest if you are in class 11 it is better you read 2 hours a day and revisit the 6 days preparation on Sunday. Else if you are in class 12 better you spend 4hours minimum and then keep practicing more sample and mock tests for better analysis.
The JEE cut off for the top institutes such as IITs is very high so you have to be consistent in your studies in order to secure this institute.
Here 'how do you study?' is more important than number of hours you study. You have be clear with each and every concept and you have to invest as much time you require for that. Also you should not keep anything for optional.

It is based on your dedication and interests. if you read for maximum of 13 hrs per day it is better to complete the concepts. You divide this 13 hrs into morning and evening slots.

Hello Bablu Khan
It all depends upon you how much potential you have and how fast you can grasp your subjects. If you have a whole year to study and you are dropping the year only for IIT preparation then study 3-4 hours in the morning and similarly 2-3 hours in the evening you can later extend this time when examination is near to happen.
If you are preparing for it with other studies then make sure you devote at least 3 hours each day.
Thank you
All the best :)
