To get an admission at SRM or Amrita you have to get an rank below 5k. If you can score lower rank than that would be great. College accepts upto that only. This s due to the University conducts its own exam to intake candidates which will make more competitive for national exam appeared students to take an admission. IN another way it depends on the exam and how it is gone. Like if it hard then rank barrier will be kept low or vice-versa. So there are lot of factors.
So just aim for a 5k rank if you aim for these college or aim higher to get top NITs or IIITs or GFITs in your domicile area.
