95 percentile score is equivalent to the marks in the range of 98 - 107 . But this range is not fixed and changes with each shift of exam depending upon the topper's score.
There is no need to think of how much percentile you can score. The more you score the more the chance of getting your preferred college increases.

Hello,
The percentile scored in JEE Mains will vary for the same score every year. Your percentile depends on the highest marks scored by the topper, the number of shifts in which JEE is being conducted, and the total number of test takers.
For instance, if the highest score that the topper gets is 200 out of 300, then the marks 200 will be considered as 100 percentile. So as you can see, 95 percentile will vary each year. What I will suggest is that you prepare accordingly and try to answer as many questions that you can attempt without second guessing , i.e. attempt the questions that you are sure of or can solve. Attempting maximum questions DO NOT necessarily lead to high scores.
All the best!
Hii
NTA only releases percentile and rank of candidates. The score of them are not rleased.
There have been instance when one get under 10k with 180 marks at same time one get 18k for 200 marks. These happens due to different level of question in different shifts.
So, we can't help you with crossponding marks for 95 percentile. The best is to solve as many questions as possible.
All the best!
