how many minimum marks can a student can score in advanced with mains preparation??

To be honest, you can not clear advanced with mains preparation. Though the mains preparation will prove to enhance your basic concepts to solve more advanced problems in Advanced exam.

You need to dig deeper than that you have studied for mains. So mains will just be like cleaning your basic concepts which will eventually be helpful in Advanced preparation.

So don't just be dependent solely on your mains preparation, start preparing more deeply for Advanced exam. Solve previous years papers,analyze your mistakes and keep practicing.
