there are two papers in jee mains those are paper 1 and paper 2 and paper 1 completely belongs to engineering and it has three subjects mayhematics,physics and chemistry with equal weightage for 75 questions and 300 marks

and mains paper 2 consists of mathematics and aptitude and for 400 marks total

JEE Main 2020 exam comprises of two papers:

Paper 1 is for engineering aspirants and Paper 2 is for students seeking admissions in architecture and planning courses.
According to the exam pattern of JEE Main paper 1, questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Each subject will have 25 questions.

Total of 75 questions will be asked in the exam.
