Hi Ravindra,
For JEE mains and advanced, you need to have scored atleast 75% aggregate or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 if you are from the general category. If you are SC/ST/PwD, the eligibility is 65%. However, these marks are just for eligibility sake and not counted as a rank determining factor.
All the best!
Hi Ravindra,
The main eligibility criteria to be able to get admission in any IIT/NIT/IIIT/GFTI through JEE Main or JEE Advanced is to score a minimum aggregate of 75% in 12th boards if you belong to the General category.
If you belong to a reserved category, you need to score an overall aggregate of 65%.
If you are not able to score the aggregate, then you need to be in the Top 20 percentile of your respective board.
The FIVE main subjects which are used to calculate the top 20 percentile are-
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Maths
- Any Language, like English
- Any optional subject, like CSC or IP
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
