It's better if you score above 50%. No matter if you score below 50%.you will get admission in private schools where is the  fee is more  as compared to the government schools.

For Kerala to get admission in commerce you should score 50% in your sslc,  no matter if your score is less than 50% but inorder to get in good schools for plus two with normal fee it's better to score above 50% . Otherwise you should go for Private school seats, where the fee is more.
