To be eligible for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the Regional College of Nursing Guwahati candidates must meet the following criteria
eligibility criteria

Age: minimum of seventeen years on thirty first December of the year in which admission is sought
Educational Qualification:

completion of ten plus two with Physics Chemistry Biology and English as compulsory subjects

a minimum of forty five percent aggregate marks in Physics Chemistry and Biology combined in the qualifying examination

for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes the minimum required is forty percent in the same subjects
Medical Fitness: candidates must be medically fit
Entrance examination: admission is based on the entrance examination conducted by srimanta sankaradeva University of Health Sciences Assam
Reservation Policy: reservation for Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe and Other backward classes candidates is as per State Government rules additionally three percent of seats are reserved for candidates with locomotor disabilities between forty percent to fifty percent
