GATE examination consists of 65 questions and total marks is out of 100. There are 1 and 2 marks questions, which are MCQ type and numerical answer type questions.
15 marks will be for mathematics and 15 for general Aptitude, 70 for Technical questions. The duration of exam is 3 hours.
For eligibility, you must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology/ architecture/ 4-years after 10+2, post B.Sc and MSc.
The candidates in the last year of the above mentioned programs can also apply for the Examination.

GATE contains a total of 65 questions and the time duration is 3 hours. The total marks of the exam is 100 marks and there will be MCQs as well as numerical type questions too.
