A Candidate has to appear for JEE Main Exam to be able to apply. The shortlisting is done via All India Rank (AIR) and so there is no particular score that can assure entrance as the Candidates will be shortlisted via their AIR.
There are also other eligibility Criteria like, the candidate should have passed class 12 with minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class 10 or Class 12).
