How many seat in iit, nit, gifs, in2019 josa and 54000 obc rank can I get any seat in nit

Well brother, I can understand your situation. I know you have worked hard for JEE mains but I believe with 54k category rank you won't be getting decent college which I can recommend you.

Though with OBC and home state quota, there might be an increased chance of your's getting a seat but with such a rank it is very hard to get.

As, opting a very low rank NIT core branch will bring nothing good for you.

So, I would suggest you to prefer state engineering colleges. Some state eng. colleges are way better than even mediocre ranked NIT.

Also, I would recommend you to do take part in JoSAA and go to through all the round even the spot round. May be, some good fortune can turn your destiny.

Or the better recommendation can be

To prefer Thapur. It is one of the older colleges in education industry with better Alumni than many of the NIT's.

There are total 38704 seats including all the catagories. In IIts, there are 11168 seats, IIITs a total of 4449 seats are available. In GFTIs, there are 5635 seats and in NITs there are a total of 17452 seats. In obc catagory, there are total of 10972 seats. Your rank is quite low with respect to the availability of seats. But if many candidates do not take admission, than you might have a chance.

You can't get any seat in NITs with your rank even if you are participate in CSAB special rounds. Better to choose another colleges with your PUC marks. Hope it helps.
