Hello student,
There are a total of 31 NITs in India. NIT Tirchy, NIT Warangal, NIT Patna, NIT Rourkela, NIT Durgapur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Silchar are some of the popular NITs. Every NIT has different number of seats for mechanical branch. 27% of the total number of seats are reserved for OBC category in all branches.
