Hello friend,
The general number of candidates for IPU CET B.Tech is around 90,0001,00,000 every year. But (Yes, there's but everywhere), as in 2017 JEE Adv was to be held on 21st of May and IPU CET was scheduled on 20th May, many students(who were really confident for their selection in IITs) didn't attempt CET. This reduced the number of candids lst year.
