Maharashtra MBBS seats are filled through 15% All India Counselling and 85% State Counselling.

The State Quota seats are divided into 70% Regional quota(Candidates belonging to Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra) and 30% rest of the State Quota.

The constitutional quota of Maharashtra state will include categories like Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes (VJ/DT) - A, Nomadic Tribes (NT) - B, Nomadic Tribes (NT) - C, Nomadic Tribes (NT) - D, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST).

As per 2020 Reservation of NT1(NT-B) is 2.50% in Government colleges and 1.25%in Private/unaided colleges.
