There are no types of entrance exams, there is only one type in which you give the exam then get your rank and then enter the counseling for the admission. There are lots of Entrance Exams for pursuing B.tech in India. Throughout the India, Engeneering colleges are situated. Some take their own Entrance Exam for admission and some admit students on the basis of the common Engineering Entrance Exam conducted twice a year now i.e. "JEE Mains".
