75% marks in your board exams for general category and 65 for reserved candidates are necessary to apply for JEE . Hope this helped.

I mentioned that it is the minimum percentage required to take admission through JEE . I did not say anything about the respective state level exams like WBJEE or COMEDK in which the applying percentage vary.

Infact let me just add that for BIT it is 75%
For VITEEE it is 60% for general and 50% for reserved
For WBJEE it is just required to have passed class 12
For MHTCET it is 50% for general and 45% for reserved
For KCET it is 45% for general and 40% for reserved
For EAMCET it is 45% for general and 40% for reserved
For UPSEE it is 45% for general and 40% for reserved
And for KIITEE it is 60% so the minimum percentage in class 12th required for different exams vary with the exams themselves. I hope this helps.

To get admission in Engineering college you have to score at least 80% marks in pcm.
Percentage cutoff varies from colleges and the branch you want to opt.
