How marks required to admission in jadevpur university general catagory

For Jadavpur university you need to appear for WBJEE for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech.

And This is the best government college of West bengal after IIT Kharagpur and comparable to NIT D and IIEST Shibpur.

So For this , if you just aspire to get into with any branch then you may score anything under 1500.

You will atleast get food technology.

But for CSE you need to get a rank under 150 and a score of 140-150+ in WBJEE.

and You may get ECE by scoring anything around 135+. cutoff rank for ECE is Somewhat under 300.

Next for IT you need to score around 125+ marks and need a rank under 500.

For other branches like Chemical, Mechanical, Civil. try scoring above 115-120 marks and a rank under 900.

And for Productions and Food Technology you need rank around 1000.
