For getting a job in PSUs you'll have to first qualify the UGC NET examination and whenever there is a vacancy for any managerial post you can apply simply through your NET scores. Companies like NTPC, ONGC, SAIL and others consider the scores. UGC NET is conducted twice every year, once in June and then in December.

Apart from that companies like Coal India Ltd. conducts their own examination for recruitment of management trainees but the examination is not conducted every year. After 2017 they'll conduct the exam this year.
