Hello Dear Student,

For a B.Tech seat through counselling, students usually need to pay:

Government/DCET quota: around Rs 20,000 to Rs 80,000 initially during admission/reporting.
Private/management quota: first-year payment can range from around Rs 1 lakh to several lakhs depending on the college and branch.

Some colleges also ask for:

admission fee,
hostel fee, and
caution deposit separately at the time of joining.
