Hello!
For a general student, a candidate should have atleast 60-65% marks in aggregate in BTech to get a government job or in psu. In grade points term, this should be min 6.75-7.0 cgpa. For reserved candidates it is 50-55% in aggregate which will be around 5.3-5.8 cgpa.
