how much distance can a hostel be at max from a medicine related institution? is there a rule for that?

there is no hard and fast rule for the distance of hostel from a Institution. Generally hostels are in the campus only at a distance as far as 2 km and as near as 500 meters. So if you are looking for a particular college you can mention it we can tell you about it.

There is no such fix rule that a hostel is how far from the medical institution. But the hostels are preferred to be in the Medical Instituion campus. Generally in all the colleges the hostels are inside the college campus. And sometimes it might be the case that only students who are living far away from the college , are allowed to take hostels. And the students who live in nearby areas near the colleges are not allowed to take hostels. For hostels related information you can visit your college official website and read the hostel brochure from there.
