For an IIT U must have to clear her advance ,but for a good nit in obc category U should score around 150 to get into it.hope this help.

For getting into NITs you need to have rank under 30000. Crossponding percentile will be greater than 97 pecentile. You can get lower NIT till general rank till 40000. The obc rank should be less than 10000.
For IITs you need to clear jee advanced. You need to have general rank under 10000 to get IITs. And under 3500 obc rank.
