IITs tuition fees is 2 lakh per annum for general category.
-All SC/ST and PwD students/scholars are exempted from payment of Tuition fees irrespective of their parental income.
-The most economically backward students whose family income is less then Rs. 1 lakh shall get full remission of the fee.
-The other backward students whose family income is between Rs 1.5 to Rs 5 lakhs shall get 2/3rd remission of the fee.
