NEET happens to be the entrance examination for admissions to MBBS, BDS, Ayush and other medical courses across various colleges in India.
Candidates are required to fulfill certain basic eligibility criteria for appearing in the examination. Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET 2020.
The qualifying marks to be considered are aggregate marks only for subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For candidates belonging to General Category, the qualifying marks are 50% whereas for candidates belonging to OBC / SC / ST, the qualifying marks is 40%.
