NCERT helps you to clear your concepts and to build your fundamentals strong. You can qualify your paper if you study from NCERT but to score good marks you should recommended other books as well.
If you want to score good marks in chemistry you can go through OP Tandon book.
You should pay extra attention to the topics which holds good weightage in the exam.
Solving previous year questions are very important to know the level of the questions asked in the exam and it is recommended to solve as mny as MCQs for your practice.
