You can even get admission in NIT if you secure Ra k around 40-50 thousand or even more.
But to take admission in good college with core branch you have to secure rank under 10000.
It also depends upon that in which branch and which specific college you want because each college and branch has its own cut offs according to the number of applicants for that seat.
So you should see the cut off for those specifics colleges.
And to secure rank under 10000 you have to secure nearly 99+ percentile score.
So good luck.
