How much is the Gate stipend if I join Mtech in govt colleges or if there will be any different if I join Private colleges??

Earlier it was 8000/- but after numerous request of students and institutions the amount has been revised from 8000/- to 12400/-. And all the AICTE/UGC approved private colleges are eligible GATE scholarship,so you need to talk to the particular college officials what criteria they follow for the same.
