This is the first time that admission in IP University is being done through CLAT instead of their own entrance test which was conducted previously. So we do not have any previous year trends to consider for admission here through CLAT. But as the admission in NLUs through CLAT closes around a rank of 1500-1600 for the general category and there are around 2000 seats available through IPU CET for both BA LLB as well as BBA LLB. Also that 85% seats are reserved for Delhi Candidates, and rest 15% are for Outside Delhi region. You can expect the Delhi region cut off to go till 4000-5000 rank. So a score above 90-95 atleast would be safe. The marks always differ a lot each year. Some times even for NLUs it is 120+ for the top 5 and sometimes it's 140+. So can't be that sure about The marks. outside region to go lower that this. This is just an estimate. It may differ according to various factors like the number of Delhi candidates falling in that rank range and more.
Best of luck
HELLO SHAILJA,
As you have mentioned that you want to knew that how much marks are needed to get admission in imp so firstly I want to inform you that for taking admission in IP university you don’t need CLAT exam scores as the university conducts the IPU- CET exam for its courses so rank of that CET matters for the same.
· Number of qualifying candidates in IPU CET Law 2019.
· Minimum marks scores by the test-takers.
· Seats available for admissions into the five-year integrated law programmes.
· The cut off trend of the previous years.
secondly if talk about the CLAT exam scores so it’s quite tough to say as for taking admission in NLU ( NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY) that totally depends upon the It's difficult to say that what will be the score that will surely take you to the NLU because it totally depends on the level of hardness of the Paper.
If we go back to 2015 the paper was very hard (tough)so the cut-off marks for nlu was very low as if we compare it to clat 2016 because the level of hardness of paper was low.
And if we come to CLAT 2017 the paper was tough so it resulted into lowering of cutoff.
So target marks according to the level of hardness of paper and don't set a particular score good or bad without the paper analysis.
HOPE IT HELPS
ALL THE BEST
