How much marks is needed in jee mains to write jee advanced?I only got 53 in jan jee mains
Hello dear
If 53 is your percentile score and you do not belong to ST or pwd category than it is not possible for you to give jee advanced according to last year trend.
You need to qualify the jee mains with a good percentile and if you are from general category then you must secure 90+ percentile taking the safe side.I would suggest to work from the next chance that will be held in July if you applied for it and try to score a good percentile otherwise if you wanna go in a good college like NIT, IIIT , IIT you should take drop.
Good luck
To be eligible for jee advanced, you must score above the cutoff marks. The cutoff marks are different for different categories. If you are ST, Sc or OBC, then you have some chances of being eligible for jee advanced. But if you are from general category, then you have almost no chances of being eligible. Also this time they only give the cutoff percentile instead of cutoff marks. Hope it helps
