West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is an all-India entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in West Bengal State Engineering Colleges. The exam is conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and is held every year in June.
For the eligibility criteria, Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply. They must also have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 60% marks in their class 12th board exams.
The WBJEEB conducts the PUBDET. The Bachelor Degree Entrance Test is a national level entrance test conducted by Presidency University. The test helps the candidates to get admission in the B.Sc (Hons.) program offered by this university.
The candidate needs to give an offline pen&paper test which occurs for the duration of 90 minutes.
