How much marks should we get for selection in any of the AIIMS college ?

As per your query, percentage and percentile are two different parameters to judge your performance in an examination.

Percentile indicates your performance with respect to other candidates which means if the highest score in an examination is 900 out of 1000 then, t he percentile of that candidate will be 100 th .

On the other hand, percentage reflects your sole performance. Taking the above-mentioned example,

% of the highest scorer = marks obtained/total marks * 100

Therefore, 900/1000 * 100= 90%

If the cutoff percentile is 99 th then, it means this particular candidate’s performance is better than 99 th percent of the candidates who took the exam.

The cutoff marks to get admission to AIIMS varies every year and it isn’t correct to speculate the cut off marks of AIIMS MBBS 2018. However, you can check the previous year data to get an idea of the rank you need to secure to get a seat at various AIIMS Institutions for the respective categories.
