MIT Pune does not offer Software Engineering course, it offers B.E. Computer Engineering and B.E. Information Technology in this field. The minimum passing marks required for Diploma in Engineering & Technology passed candidates, is at least 50% aggregate marks (at least 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only).

The entrance exam scores considered for admission is of MHT-CET or JEE Main.
