How much percentage I have to score after cbsc improvement exam so I reach in the range of top 20 percentile.?
Hello,
Somehow i guess this question is related to JEE Mains. To be eligible for JEE mains, you should be in top 20 percentile or you should fulfill the minimum criteria of 75%. Now let as assume you have appeared for class 12 exam in the year 2018, but you didn't manage to be top 20 percentile or you get reappear in any of the subject. Then you will appear for improvement exam in the year 2019, but when your top 20 percentile will be calculated the percentage will be taken of the year 2018 only.
Now the thing is that to be in top 20 percentile, the percentage or marks of topper of the board matters, because relative to him only the percentile will be decided. But from the trends of the last few years the minimum marks required to be in top 20 percentile are as follows:
2018- 432
2017- 431
2016- 430
These marks are out of 500. So you can add up your marks of respective subjects and check out that you will be in top 20 percentile or not.
All the very best for your exams. I hope this have answered your question. Feel free to ask any questions in case of doubts.
