how much percentile we need to get seat in nit for EWS students

The total available seats in NITs is roughly around 20k. Out of these 10% is reserved for EWS. And considering dropouts and some candidates going to other colleges, you need rank lower than 6000 in ews category to get into NITs any how. According to me 95+ percentile should be must to get into any NITs anyhow for EWS candidates.
