To get a seat in Computer Science branch in a good engineering college your required score depends on the exam you are writing If you are writing AP EAMCET then a rank below ten thousand gives you a good chance in top government colleges For private colleges you may get CSE seat even with a higher rank around twenty five thousand If you are writing JEE Main then a percentile above ninety five gives better chances for NITs For general category students competition is higher while reserved categories like EWS SC ST OBC may get CSE seat with slightly lower ranks Try to target above ninety five marks in AP EAMCET or above one hundred fifty marks in JEE Main to stay on the safer side
