How much score is required to get a seat in amu?

For an external student a score of at least 80% is required to take admission in AMU and in case of BA and B.Sc u can easily take admission by scoring 60%. For internal students, the required score is comparatively lesser.

To secure an MBBS seat in AMU, for external students from all India quota cut off must be 560+ and for internal students, it must be above 530+

For B.tech, the cut-off actually varies every year. For external students, 80 to 85 score is required and for internal students about 65 to 70 marks u will have to score for clearing list. For CS branch the cutoff required is high.

The cutoffs arent available still. But there are previous years cut off where you can relate to minimum scores. There is a link which dirrects to the address which has previous years cut off in detail.

Aligarh Muslim University conducts Engineering entrance test in order to get into their University for variety of B.tech courses. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 26, 2019 and result is scheduled to announce in third week of JUne tentatively.

All those who wnats to take admission in AMU need to meet certain eligibility criteria. These include -

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from recognised state or central board with minimum of Physics , Chemistr , Mathematics and English as core subjects.
• Minimum of 50% aggregate is must in Qualifying examination
• Diploma students of AMU with 50% aggregate are also elligible.

The application form was released on february 1 , 2019 and it was open till March 4 , 2019.

Various exam centres are available. The application form is to be filled online and the conducting body os Alligarh Muslim University and the exam will be offline, i.e., no computer based test.

Here goes the Exam Pattern -

• Offline based exam for 3 hours
• 3 subjects - Physics , Chemistry as well as Mathematics
• Objective type questions - Multiple Choice Questions.
• Toatal 150 questions out of which each righ answer gets +1 marks where as the wrong answer gets 0.25 marks deducted.

The previous years papers and models are used as sample papers to help candidates improve themselves and being familiar with exam paper and learns Time Management as well.

The cut offs depends on various factors -

• Number of seats available.
• Number of students appearing
• Difficulty Level
• previous year cut off trends , etc.

SO like this many factors are used to prepare your rank in this particular exam or any exam for that. To prepare rank they need to use all these factors. The Cut offs will vary to each of character like the branch you opt to.

The minimum marks which is required to get admissions in AMU is considered as cut off marks.
