how much should I score in JEE advanced 2017 in general category to get a rank within 6500?

It depends year to year as the pattern in JEE advanced changed every year.

if you assume previous year pattern of JEE advanced... then please do assume previous year cutoff of JEE mains too..
you can't assume anything when it comes to JEE advanced ...
just do your best and you will qualify

It varies every year dependeng on many factors like toughness of paper etc.but scoring more than 46% of the total marks would surely be enough.at 50% one could expect 4000-5000 rank,which is considered a standerd.

what is the highest rank at which I can get CSE at any IIT at all??
According to previous year data.The best iit for cse is iit bombay-cutoff 6th round around100(air).worst(yet an iit!) is iit dharwad(established 2016 mentored by iit bombay) at air of 5600.(cse)
